The Cochlear Nucleus 8 CP1110 Aqua+ Sleeve is compatible with the Nucleus® 8 Nexa™ and Nucleus 8 Sound Processors. 

Overview

The Cochlea Aqua+ is a re-usable sealable sleeve that fits over your Nucleus 8 Sound Processor and is worn with the Nucleus 8 Aqua+ Coil. With Aqua+, your Nucleus 8 Sound Processor is a fully water-resistant (IP68) solution designed for swimming and bathing, so you can confidently wear your sound processor while enjoying your favourite water activities. The Cochlear Aqua+ features a built-in ear hook, and is worn behind-the-ear with your sound processor sealed inside.

• Suitable for use at depths of up to 3 metres for up to 2 hours.
• Can be re-used up to 50 times (may vary depending on individual usage).
• Designed for use in salt, fresh and chlorinated water.

Please note: To use Aqua+, your Nucleus 8 Sound Processor must be using rechargeable batteries and cannot be in Hybrid™ mode. If vigorous activity is expected, consider using the Mic Lock and/or Cochlear Safety Line. Please speak to your health professional for more information.

*The Cochlear Nucleus 8 Sound Processor with Aqua+ is dust and water resistant to level IP68 of the International Standard IEC60529. The Nucleus 8 Sound Processor with Aqua+ can be continuously submerged under water to a depth of up to 3 meters for up to 2 hours. Refer to the relevant user guide for more information.
